It became obvious to eliminate this problem at its source a new social economic structure would need to be integrated with a comprehensive technical solution to create the environmental conditions of a predator free society. The Automated Community Infrastructure (ACI - 1.0) is the technical half of that solution.

This technical solution had a most difficult set of criteria to satisfy. Some of the more difficult criterions to satisfy are that the infrastructure needed to provide the energy and survival necessities for the entire community. All of the infrastructure components must be unaffected by or resistant to most naturally occurring or man-made disasters.
